  • If the Reversed amount and Transaction amount are same then it means already paid(Reversed) to the customer.

Solution for RD loan Payoff error-The unscheduled payment or demand satisfaction is done after the value date. Reverse them before doing Payoff in DOP Finacle

  • Generally we will do HPAYOFF for RD loan account when the customer wishes to pay the last installment for the loan amount or during the loan account closure.
  • Sometimes when we do HPAYOFF we will get the error "The unscheduled payment or demand satisfaction is done after the value date. Reverse them before doing Payoff".
  • For error screen find the below screen shot.

Root Cause of the above Problem

  • The said error occurs when the loan repayment done after the value date i..e, after 1st date of the month.
  • For suppose if a loan account has 1000 balance and the customer repaid the amount on 04th date of the month which means after 1st date of the month and the customer approached for closure in another day i..e., after 04th day in the same month then above error occurs during HPAYOFF.
  • In short we can say that if the loan repayment date in a month and HPAYOFF date are different in a same month then the above error situation arise in DOP Finacle.

Solution for the above Problem

Step 1 :- Reversal of transaction done in HLAUPAY menu for RD loan account.

  • First we have to reverse the last loan repayment transaction by using the menu HLAUPAY i..e., select the function as Reversal then click on Go the system will show below screen shot

Then in the above screen enter the following details
  1. By default value date will be current date then change the value date of 1st date of the  month(Ex:- 01/01/2016)
  2.  Enter the loan account number number __________________
  3. Then click on the searcher beside the Reversal ID column as shown in the below figure.

Then the system will display the transaction which was done on the same month as shown in the below screen

Then click on the flow id "COLL" then the system will display the transaction date and transaction details as mentioned in the below screen shot

Then click on Submit system will generate the tran id note down the tran id.

  • In the next step verify the tran id by using the same menu HLAUPAY in the supervisor login as shown in the below screen shot.

Then click on submit the system will display the confirmation message

Step 2 :-  Clear the RD loan amount and loan interest by using the menu HPAYOFF

  • In counter PA invoke the menu HPAYOFF enter the loan account number and submit the transaction.
  • In Supervisor verify the transaction done in HPAYOFF menu.

Step 3 :- Close the RD loan account using the menu CAACLA

  • In counter PA invoke the menu CAACLA enter the loan account number and submit the transaction.
  • In Supervisor verify the transaction done in CAACLA menu.

Step 4 :- Close the RD account using the menu CRDCAAC

  • In counter PA invoke the menu CRDCAAC enter the loan account number and submit the transaction.
  • In Supervisor verify the transaction done in CRDCAAC menu.

Step by Step procedure of RD account closure having loan in DOP Finacle

  • When an RD account having loan approached for closure then there will be 2 cases they are mentioned below
  1. RD account having loan account approaches for before maturity period (Premature closure).
  2. RD account having loan approaches after maturity period (Mature closure).

Case 1:-

RD account closure having loan before maturity period (Premature Closure)

  • If the customer approaches  for RD account closure having loan before maturity period (Premature closure) then as per the POSB norms we will not collect the loan interest from the customer
  •  In Counter PA login invoke the account closure menu CRDCAAC and close the account.
  • Then the system will auto calculates the Net amount i..e, it will deduct loan amount and net balance to be paid to the customer will displayed by the system.
  • Supervisor has to verify the account closure using the menu CRDCAAC.

Case 2:-

RD account having loan approaches after maturity period (Mature closure).

  • Counter PA has to invoke loan repayment using HLAUPAY menu.
  • Supervisor has to verify the transaction done in HLAUPAY menu.
  • Counter PA has to invoke the menu HPAYOFF to make the loan amount '0'(zero) and system will calculates the loan interest.
  • Supervisor has to verify the transaction done in HPAYOFF.
  • Counter PA has to invoke the menu CAACLA to close the loan account.
  • Supervisor has to verify the transaction done in CAACLA. Now the loan account is closed we have to proceed for account closure in the next step.
  • Counter PA has to invoke the menu CRDCAAC to close the account.
  • Supervisor has to verify the transaction done in CRDCAAC. Then the system will calculates the net amount to be paid to the customer after deducting the loan amount and interest on loan amount.

RD deposit error -- "Credit account is invalid status or Total Frozen"

  • When we try to deposit the RD account using the menu CRDP sometimes we will face the error "Credit account is invalid status or Total Frozen".
  • Please find the error screen shot

ROOT CAUSE OF THE ABOVE PROBLEM

  • The root cause of the above problem is that RD account might be frozen.
  • In Finacle terminology  Frozen account means discontinued account..
  • IN DOP when an RD account is not having 6 defaults i..e, if there are 6 pending deposits then the account is said to be Discontinued account.
  • For Example in our case account number 919956**** account shown in the error screen shot is Frozen account.
  • We can inquire using the menu HPLIST menu.
  • For our example I have inquired the menu HPLIST and the screen shot is as shown in the below image for your reference.

  • From the above screen shot it is clear that there are 6 pending installments from 13-11-2015 to 13-04-2016 hence the system will mark the said account automatically to Frozen account.

SOLUTION FOR THE ABOVE PROBLEM:-

  • If the account is discontinued only solution is to left to the customer i..e., he/she may wish to continue the account till maturity period or close immediately.
  • If the account is having the missing credits and it is frozen then follow the missing credit procedure by taking the approval from the Divisional head.
